The quote by Nelson Mandela has always resonated with me, "Education can be the most powerful weapon if you
learn to utilize your skills in a meaningful way."
Throughout my education, I've learned a lot of valuable lessons that will propel me into the future to do great things.
Since my youth, I've been determined to find the next challenge. This adventurous spirit moves me to explore
and learn new things. All of this has shaped my life throughout my education, and I'm excited to share these learnings
with the world!
I'm a Technical Communicator living in New York City. My core competencies lie in graphic design and usability.
Through my education, I possess the experience, capabilities, and judgment to support taking a business to its next
level of success or resolving the deficiencies that impede its ability to grow and prosper. I am a "doer" who is highly
skilled in visualizing and executing a plan, doing whatever it takes to deliver. Challenges and undaunted obstacles
drive me.

Hobbies...
Hiking
When I'm not working, my favorite activity is hiking. Living in New York City without a car makes this problematic, so I try to savor it as much as possible when I can create the opportunity. One of my dreams would be to hike the Appalachian Trail. This will require significant planning and determination, but I'm optimistic I can make this dream a reality.
Live Music
I've always had a passion for music. Since I was a little girl, my father has been taking me to all different types of concerts. I get an adrenaline rush whenever I see the stage and hear the speakers pounding. I've been going to festivals for years now, and every time I see a band touring that I enjoy (often!), I'm known to persuade my friends to join me in the next musical adventure. Music helps us overcome many things in life and enhance many emotions that promote my personal growth.
Traveling
Having always had an adventurous spirit, I've wanted to travel and explore the world. Having dual citizenship in the US and the Netherlands, I've had the opportunity to experience significant travel in Europe and the US. I thrive on being dropped into an entirely different culture and embracing it with open arms. I tend to feel alive when presented with new and varying cultures and people, and I know my adventurous spirit will guide me to places only a few are lucky to experience.
